This area is half idle, half devoted to cultivation as the former host Merezzate House (1161 AD). Being owned by the city, and being one of the last remaining undeveloped areas on the outskirts of Milan, was chosen by the administration to make you pass a section of the route of the new SS Paullese (in particular Lot 2, which would connect via all'ortomercato on the elevated railway of the future Lot 3) and to make you rise to a new neighborhood of subsidized housing (based on the Program for Public Housing) which would be built by the cooperative E.
