Surely Square Cathedral and the ascent of Torrazzo (masonry bell tower in the world's highest - 111 meters).
In some rare open days there is also a room and watch a performance of medieval engineering.
Then, if it is open, you can visit the exhibition of violins in the seat of the municipal building (always in Piazza del Duomo).
The churches of Cremona are beautiful, there Sant'Abbondio with the adjoining cloister by Bramante, which is spectacular.
San Sigismondo (extreme outskirts of Cremona) unfortunately now open twice a year because it has become a cloistered convent.
Sant'Agata is beautiful and has Cittanova front of the building, which was the second town hall at the time of the Guelphs and Ghibellines (I trust you know what we're talking about).
(ehm. ..)
In terms of stately homes to visit or even just to admire the gate, there is simply spoiled for choice, wandering through the center and streets you'll find many major and art will certainly catch your eye drawn from photographs. In some parts of the city you may also find the residue of the old medieval walls. In some cases we have also built on top of buildings (*@#**)
As for where to eat, even here there is plenty of choice in Cremona you can eat basically always good. It depends on the tastes and wallet.
If you want the typical dishes of the cuisine of Lombardy and Cremona, I recommend the Tavern in the Old Market. Best to book because the place is tiny.
are being Mantova 18 (just outside the historic center). They make great stock in the marubini and have a sausage that is the end of the world.
Another place where you can eat well in the center, in frescoes and Hosteria del 700. They have fabulous risotto. I spend a little 'more, you will be around 40 € each.
Enjoy your visit.
